Feature request for product/service
Cursor IDE
Describe the request
Add support for embedding the iOS Simulator in the agent window, matching Claude’s in-window simulator experience.
Hey @Hardik_Juneja, thanks for the suggestion!
There isn’t a built-in Simulator panel in the Agents Window today. We’ve worked on one before but it never quite got over the finish line. There are, however, some first-party paths to do what you want to do!
Cloud Agents can run on your own Mac as a self-hosted machine, and that worker supports computer use on macOS. Install the CLI, run agent worker --computer-use start on the Mac, grant the Cursor Computer Use helper Accessibility and Screen Recording when prompted, then start a Cloud Agent on that machine from cursor.com/agents or the Agents Window. The agent can build and run your app in Xcode, take screenshots of the Simulator, and tap and type into it. Adding an Xcode MCP server such as XcodeBuildMCP on that machine gives it structured build and simulator tools on top of that.

Thanks for the response!
From a UX perspective, keeping everything contained within a single window where users can easily monitor computer use in real time would definitely streamlines the experience. Seeing this executed so well on other platforms proves it’s a worthwhile investment of development time.

Hardik
