Hey, if I understood correctly, your annual Pro subscription is active until September 2025. For accounts like that, Auto stays free (it doesn’t get deducted from the included pool) until the end of the current annual billing cycle. That’s why usage shows “free”, and that’s expected.
What you’re seeing on the website about Auto in pay-as-you-go is the new pricing model. It applies to new subscriptions and Pro plans started after the pricing change. It doesn’t affect your current annual subscription while it’s still active.
When you renew or switch to a new plan, the current terms will apply. Auto will be part of the plan’s shared “Auto + Composer” pool, and after the pool is used up, it will go into pay-as-you-go overage (if on-demand spending is enabled). More details: Models & Pricing | Cursor Docs
