Is there a $400 option?

I can already see that I’m going to run out on my $200 plan. I looked all over the site and can’t find an option for a higher tier. Surely the Cursor team isn’t leaving money on the table. What do others do in this situation? How do I buy another $200 Ultra plan. Maybe call it Ultra2x :).

Hi @j_a-im_e There currently is not a $400 option, however, you can enable on-demand usage and spend incrementally above the $200 plan according to your needs. You can enable it here: https://cursor.com/dashboard/spending

Thanks @kevinn! Ya I’m aware of that. I’ve used it in the past when I had to go a little over. This month I can see myself going over a ton. Since the Ultra plan comes with a $400 of api usage, I would love the option to pay for a higher tier.

Is it against TOS if I make an additional account and buy another Ultra plan that way? It’s not ideal.

Thanks

Hi @j_a-im_e, you are not prohibited from doing that at this time. Let me explain a little a bit more so that people who reference this post in the future understand where I’m coming from. And also, that this could change in the future.

What is allowed:

  • Let’s say you have a Cursor account for work and a Cursor account for your personal weekend projects. These accounts are under separate emails - that is totally fine.

What is not allowed:

  • Your startup is hiring a pool of 5 interns. Rather than setting them up with individual Cursor accounts, the startup decides to get one Cursor account and let the interns share it.

Having a couple of different Cursor accounts that you use on your device won’t cause a problem. If it’s extreme number that might trigger our fraud alerts.
