There are two ways to get Cursor updates faster:

Method 1: Change Update Frequency in Settings

  1. Open Cursor Settings by clicking the cog icon (:gear:) in the top right corner of the application
  2. Navigate to the “Beta” section
  3. Look for “Update frequency” and change it from “Standard” to “Early Access”
  4. To check for updates, click on “Help” in the top menu bar (where File, Edit, etc. are located) and select “Check for Updates…”

Method 2: Manual Downloads

If you want immediate access to the latest version or need a specific version:

Visit https://github.com/oslook/cursor-ai-downloads - this is a repository that maintains links to all Cursor versions. You can:

  • Download the latest release directly
  • Choose any specific version from the comprehensive list
  • Access versions for different platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux)
