Describe the Bug

When the active prompt is stopped using the stop icon, the Cursor hangs. After several seconds, it prompts to keep waiting, close or restart.

Hey, thanks for the report.

To help the team reproduce the issue, could you please share:

1. Does it happen every time you stop the prompt, or only sometimes?
2. What kind of prompt are you stopping, a normal chat or Agent mode?
3. Developer Tools console logs: Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console tab (screenshot or copy the errors)
4. Active extensions: check via Cmd+Shift+P > Developer: Open Extension Monitor
5. Instead of clicking the button, try stopping the chat with Cmd+Shift+Backspace

Also, please try temporarily disabling extensions (run cursor --disable-extensions in the terminal) and see if the issue still happens.
