Issue with Cursor Agents

Describe the Bug

Currently i am not able to use Agents on cursor - it shows this error while trying.

We’re having trouble finding the resource you requested. If the problem persists, please contact support.

I’ve tried to update cursor, restarted it, tried network diagnostic, no VPNs connected, auto complete and terminal generation works fine.

Its been 12 hours since its not working.

Just choose any model, i feel this is account issue.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report.

There are a couple of things I want to double-check:

  1. Have you added any of your own API keys in Cursor Settings > Models? (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) Sometimes having a BYOK key can interfere with all models, even the built-in ones.
  2. Have you added any custom models to the model list?

If you’ve set up your own keys or models, try removing them temporarily and see if Agent mode works with the default settings.

Also try:

  • Sign out and sign back in (Cursor Settings > Account)
  • Start a new chat (instead of retrying in the same thread)

Let me know if any of the above helps or not.
