Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report, and especially for the Network tab screenshot. It explains everything.

Here’s what I’m seeing: all requests return 200, the files are tiny (fonts 50 to 63 kB, JS chunks 14 to 42 kB), but each one takes 3,5 to 4,2 minutes to download. That means the server and your account are fine. The bottleneck is the bandwidth on the network path to cursor.com. From mainland China, the route to the server is often heavily throttled, so even small files take a long time, and together they add up to those 3+ minutes.

The fastest way to confirm this is to open the page using a VPN or a different network. If the assets load in seconds in the waterfall, then it’s definitely the network route.

On our side, we’re working on making the page smaller and lighter. Let me know how it behaves on another network.

Thanks a lot! I tried again with my VPN enabled, and the performance improved noticeably. It takes roughly 5 seconds now and works fine for me.

So this isn’t an issue with Cursor after all. I shouldn’t have blamed Cursor — I’m sure we both understand that.
:joy:
