Are we stuck with Jedi folding defaults for python?

They seem to differ from pylance…

I want my old single fold for function back. I don’t want two folding buttons per function, one for the header one for the body.

Steps to Reproduce

er… install cursor, open python, write long def line…

Expected Behavior

Don’t mess with how I like things.

Operating System

Linux

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Latest I guess? long input eh… wow

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Sorry if this is a skill issue, but I can’t seem to ‘fix’ python folding on my work instance of cursor… it works fine at home.

I just want a single ‘fold arrow’ per python function. At work cursor is stubbornly stuck on two arrows, one for the function header, one for the function body.

Any AI I ask just halucinates vscode settings that don’t exist. There is no vscode community I can find.

Thanks for the report. Can you please share which extension you are using for Python? Are you using the Anysphere one?
