I just opted into the new usage-based pricing from my legacy plan a few hours ago (haven’t made any requests yet). My dashboard now shows the dark mode cumulative spend graph by model (with Pro plan, total spend $0 so far, On-Demand Off), but I don’t see the two separate usage pools (First-party / Auto + Composer and API) that are mentioned in the docs.
I expected to see something like the bright mode screenshot with two progress bars.
Is this normal during the transition right after opting in?
Does the two-pool view appear after the first usage or after some sync delay?
Should I refresh, switch tabs (Usage / Billing), or wait?
Hey, this is expected during the transition, not a bug. Your opt-in was saved correctly, and the Pro plan and $0 spend are showing correctly.
The two-pool view (Auto + Composer / API with progress bars) doesn’t turn on right after opt-in, and it won’t be triggered by your first request, a refresh, or switching tabs. It turns on at the start of your next billing cycle. Until then, you’ll keep seeing the classic view with the cumulative spend graph, which is what you’re seeing now.
So you don’t need to do anything, just wait for the new cycle to start, and then the two progress bars will show up.
