Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, this isn’t a bug. The Plan & Usage tab in Cursor Settings only shows up for users who have auto-spillover enabled, which is the new on-demand usage-based pricing model. It’s not enabled on your account, so it’s expected that the tab is hidden.

You can manage your subscription and check usage in the web dashboard: https://cursor.com/dashboard, then go to Usage or Manage Subscription.

If you want to switch to usage-based pricing, you can also do that in the dashboard under billing settings. Let me know if anything still doesn’t line up.

My colleagues don’t have ‘auto-spillover’ enabled, but the option is there for them. I turned it on to test it out, but after logging back in, the feature is still missing.

A couple quick checks so we can understand what’s going on:

  1. Fully quit Cursor. Quit, don’t just close the window, then open it again. Just signing out and back in might not be enough to pick up the billing settings.
  2. Open https://cursor.com/dashboard and check in Billing settings that auto-spillover usage-based pricing really shows as enabled. Send a screenshot, it’ll be faster to figure out.
  3. For your colleagues who have the tab but don’t have auto-spillover, are they on the Team plan or also on Individual Pro? Visibility rules for Team participants are different, and that could explain the difference.

While the tab isn’t showing up, you can still view and change your plan and usage in the web dashboard: https://cursor.com/dashboard → Usage / Manage Subscription.
