I’m experiencing the same problem. It’s impossible to use the cursor with this bug. After every two corrections, the window closes. Severely frustrating. Please pay attention to this, devs! <3

Since this is affecting multiple users, I wanted to ask, whether Cursor team could provide us compensation credits to impacted users while the problem is being resolved.

cursor is unuseable right now. this latency in the IDE is absolutely ridiculous.
Fixed now, it was in the Chat window – close all tabs and start new tabs

- Close existing chat tabs and open new ones, which has resolved the issue for some users
- Downgrade to v2.5 from https://cursor.com/download while this gets sorted out

Hello everyone! This is David Gomes, from Cursor. We believe the issue should be fixed after you restart Cursor. We have disabled a feature flag that caused diff rendering to not work properly on Windows or files that use CR+LF (most common on Windows).
As for performance implications, we are still looking to see if these are related. If the performance issues go away for you please let us know.
Hard emphasis for a beta build channel, where we can opt in to the latest build build. Or only update after a stable build is released. How this shipped to Prod? How is there not a multiple stage release to avoid this type of situation.
Please note, it’s been a bad month for performance. I’ve noticed cusor being slower and slower these last automatic updates this month..
Do you mean, after a recent update? Restarting cursor did not help for me when i was in 2.6.11, happened all day, even tried to restart my computer thinking something was wrong in my processes
I am not referring to any perf issues but rather the files showing up as fully deleted.
