Last Two Days - Chat/Edit Spins Forever

:no_entry_sign: This issue stops me from using Cursor.

For the past two days, whenever I try to do anything in Chat or Edit mode, with ANY model, the UI just spins or “…” forever and never returns.

I checked the status page and it says your servers are working fine.

Hey, are you using a VPN? Could there be an issue with your internet connection? Also, check the DevTools panel, there might be errors there.

No VPNs. No internet connectivity problems.

If your internet is fine, try clearing the cache by following this guide:

If that doesn’t help, try reinstalling Cursor:

Neither of those fixed the issue.

It did start randomly working again this afternoon.

It does seem likely that this will occur again. Might be a server-side issue for this one.

imo the volume of plan renewals in certain times of the month are not supported by their servers, TPS gets flooded and extremely slow making cursor a turtle ide

I don’t know if it’s related, but I’ve been having an issue where some of my messages appear to never make it to Cursor’s servers (verified by checking that no usage history for the message is ever recorded). The AI response will forever be on “…”

I have to resend the message 2-3 times until it goes through.

Not sure if it’s at all related to your issue, but if it happens again for you, let me know. I haven’t really seen any other posts describing the issue.
