Can someone please explain what’s going on with chat panes, hotkeys, and editor layouts?
For a long time, chat was available via CML+L as a sidebar pane. At some point, this chat pane started overlapping with terminal window, so you had to choose between the terminal and chat, and one of them would get cut off at the top or bottom.
Okay, after that Cursor added a separate hotkey for the chat pane: CMD+OPT+B (I guess I have to remember that for some reason), but chat inside the editor still works too.
Now, when you open recent chats in the chat pane, they don’t open inside that chat pane. Instead, they open as a separate pane inside the editor. Am I going crazy, am I doing something wrong, or does every other update completely mess up the workflow?
