Hi, big cursor fan here overall but the new agent window feature has left me more confused than anything.
It was easy to ‘pop out’ my agent chat into the new agent window, but once I had finished, I couldn’t find any way to ‘pop it back in’. And now the chat that I had with this agent isn’t showing up as a chat in my chat histories in the normal ai sidebar chat list.
Is this a feature oversight? If not, what is the intended workflow here?
Hey, usually the agent window opens in a new window, so you just need to close the window by clicking the X. If it’s the only window, you can press the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + E to switch to the editor window. I hope this helps.
Nope, closing the agent window doesn’t help because my ‘agent window chats’ appear to be different from my ‘agent chats I have in my normal editor’s AI sidebar’
Thanks for the extra info. Could you let me know which version of Cursor you’re using? Also, please check which settings you have specified here.
