Add a clear activity indicator on each chat tab so users can instantly see which agent is running, waiting, needs attention, or has finished.
Problem
When working on large projects I often run multiple AI agents in parallel inside Cursor, each in a separate chat tab. At any given time I can have 5 to 6 chats open. Today there is no visual signal on the tab itself to tell whether the agent is still running or has completed. I have to click into each tab to check, which wastes time and breaks flow.
Proposal
Show a compact status badge on every chat tab that reflects the agent state.
I am in 1.5.4 and I just noticed this in the primary side bar. The chats have to be open in your chat tabs (not just in history), but then you can see which are active (spinning) vs done/unread (blue). Ideally it would not take up your primary side bar, but this is better.
Now you can search your chats too.
