Just had this UI appear for the first time tonight in a new conversation i started with Opus 4.5 (I am on nightly but didn’t update the past day or two but this just appeared)!
But yeah just wanted to give some positive feedback on this. It looks super clean, takes up very little space and prevents the spamming of the chat history that often comes with mass grepping and searching through my codebases.
You can see in my screenshot below I have 1 expanded and the following 2 in their default collapsed state:

@deanrie hello! I was just curious if you have any insight into what triggers this search UI? Since i feel like i haven’t been seeing it much recently and would love to see it more often. It seems like in cases where this might have been used before, a sub agent is used instead (which I do love btw and is in many ways better) but in cases where a sub agent is not utilized, I still do see a bunch of grep results spamming the history. I love a lot of these new UI elements in the chat history and just wish they were used a bit more consistently haha.
