For AI issues: which model did you use?

Composer 1, Opus 4.5

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report.

There was a similar issue before where models were responding in Chinese or Russian, and that was fixed on Nov 13. But your case seems a bit different, since you’re using specific models (Composer 1, Opus 4.5) rather than Auto mode.

To help investigate, could you share:

  • Request ID: in the chat, click the context menu (top right) → Copy Request ID
  • Test with other models: try Claude Sonnet 4.5 or GPT-5 and let me know if the issue still happens
  • Check custom rules: do you have a .cursorrules file with any non‑English text?
  • Pattern: does this happen on every response, or only sometimes?

Also, please try creating a new chat and see if the behavior changes.

Let me know what you find!

Hi, please check request IDs ca3f8893-efef-4a47-9331-3716b5f4fb21 and 092c9afb-7612-4020-86fc-11e54eded268, which are using Opus 4.5 and Sonnet 4.5. The project is clean with no chat history, but the output is still in Chinese.
This project has an AGNETS.md file, but its content is entirely in English. This issue occurs every time.

By the way, I sometimes notice that the thinking process is in English, and at the end, it says, “Convert the conclusion to Chinese.”
