Model Looping on Final Response

Describe the Bug

Several times now since updating this morning the last response/confirmation from the bot continually loops over and over. This is a small snippet but it looped more than 30 times very quickly. I specifically had the gemini-2.5-pro model selected, though it happened on the claude-4-sonnet model as well. Request ID was 8fe06646-cde2-48e2-8bbb-14f6352915d3

Steps to Reproduce

Request a multi-step task from the agent (doesn’t seem to matter but I used Gemini 2.5 Pro)

When the agent completes a task or reaches its last response, the response is duplicated many many times.

Expected Behavior

The final message should only appear one time.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Happened again. Request ID: 77ca8040-f0b3-4ceb-ad04-8344c4443f59

Strike 3, you’re out.
I’m done with trying to use Cursor. You consistently break it and make it far worse with every update. You’re ■■■■■■■■ around with billing and charging based on tokens when your app is broken and is just BURNING through tokens that aren’t actually helping to analyze or create code. This has been reported by dozens to hundreds of people on these forums alone and you seem to just be ignoring it since it earns you more money when that happens and you obscure the actual models and usage to make it hard to detect.

Your product is a failure. I will now actively recommend every developer I know to use several better alternatives(as I will be), and warn them away from the tragic dumpster fire this app has become.
