Is there a way to run multiple agents at the same time on the same project in Cursor?
Cursor won’t let me open up multiple instances of the same project.
hmmm
I already do this. But I use a remote server that I code on. So All my projects are hosted on my remote linux server in different folders. Then I connect multiple times to that server. I can connect to the same folder if I want to.
is alreaday quite hard to control one, how do you control multiple agents? O.O
I usually have to sit there and wait. I write very good prompts so the agent often spends a long time doing many tasks. In that time, I could be giving tasks to multiple agents.
In fact, I should be able to just keep typing tasks, and the orchestrator agent should just spawn new agent sessions and assign tasks and keep track of all the ongoing tasks and agents.
And there should be a microphone button to streamline this
Should be able to with multiple tabs! Just hit Cmd + T.
when i cmd + T under the cursor panel context its not doing anything… did you need to configure something beforehand?
EDIT: nvm - updating to 0.48 solves it
Ok but having to hit hotkeys just to make this work is diabolical.
Also, I want to have multiple panels open next to each other so I can monitor the agents simultaneously. As a human, my ultimate goal is to be master and watch these agent minions do my bidding.
How did you do exactly that?
You need to click on the menu with the three dots and select “Open as Editor”. After that, you can create tabs with chats.
Yeah, thats great, definitely better than tabs, would be even nice to have lock model for each chat, so it is not changed all the time…
Amazing feature … “power user” has been redefined !
