Check the forum - I did. 99.9% of the bugs are of people trying to use A.I. and not about the UX/UI like mine is;
Provide a clear description of the bug - ok, here it goes. I code with 2 monitors. One of them is on a vertical and when doing so, I use the
Chat
opened as an Editor (not as a Pane) and make it full screen on the vertical monitor.
If I highlight any code and use the “Add to Chat” feature (CTRL + L
on my Windows machine), Cursor closes the Chat Editor, brings it back as Pane and messes up the interface I configured.
Explain how to reproduce the bug - using dual monitors (also happens with just splitting the screen) so the A.I. feature is opened as an EDITOR, highlight any code and use the shortcut
CTRL + L
Tell us your operating system and your Cursor version - Windows 11, Cursor 0.47.8
Tell us if the issue stops you from using Cursor - it does not.
