We’re excited to introduce new ways to run work in parallel, isolate changes, and coordinate across multiple repos!
- Multitask with
/multitask, so Cursor can run async subagents in parallel instead of adding every request to the queue. It can also break down larger tasks into smaller chunks and send them to a fleet of subagents at once. - Worktrees in the Agents Window give you a cleaner way to run isolated background tasks across different branches. When you’re ready to test, move any branch into your local foreground with one click.
- Multi-root support in the Agents Window lets you have a single agent session targeting a reusable workspace made of multiple folders. This is especially useful for cross-repo changes across frontend, backend, and shared libraries.
There are more improvements and fixes in the full changelog.
