Same for me. Anything I enter, just loads a little, then goes straight back to chat input.
I’ve just updated to the most recent version and this behavior started. I’ve deleted cursor, reinstalled it, still the same.
Bug?
I for some reason managed to fix it by going on my hotspot, even tho the wifi has no restrictions and this randomly happened, recommend you to do the same in the meantime I guess…
It is indeed network related. I’ve had the same results on network diagnostics, but as soon as I entered my hotspot and disabled my adguard through vpn, the network diagnostics ran fine.
So, suddenly my adguard or the mac has an issue connecting to the cursor ip’s? Nothing gets blocked in adguard, so I’m trying to figure it out right now…
‘Arjen (with last name)’ sounds dutch, are you dutch by any chance? If yes it might be because we share an internet provider that has a partial outage or something in that direction.
Maybe it’s also just a coincidence who knows but it seems like a network issue soooo…
That’s exactly what I have just found out. Delta seems to be the issue. They seem to be blocking in some way.
Through Vodafone cursor is working fine. So much for the fast internet upgrade…
Please check Settings > Network > Run Diagnostic and report any errors shown there.
I suggest trying on that internet provider Delta also Network > HTTP 1.1 in case it improves stability, from your description it looks like its filtering/limiting streaming connections which we use for realtime response streaming from AI.
