Describe the Bug
Hi Cursor Team,
We’ve run out of our Pro Plan requests while working on a few simple projects and, as expected, started getting billed for additional usage. That’s fine—but now we’re trying to switch to our own API (using o3 or o3-pro via Azure) and are getting “unauthorized API key” errors.
As active Pro Plan users, it’s frustrating not being able to benefit from either the plan or our own keys. Given the situation, what’s the point of staying on the Pro Plan for the rest of the month?
Note: the “unauthorized API key” issue appears with reasoning models like o3, o3-pro, o4-mini—gpt-4.1 is working fine.
Can this bug be resolved? If yes, when?
