we need to add the alias “chatgpt-4o-latest” to use the latest update. Can confirm this works .

Thats inaccurate. That page shows NO new model and no changes for gpt-4o.
What you are mixing up is chatgpt-4o-latest which is not gpt-4o used in Cursor but in ChatGPT.
This works really well, asking for the knowledge cutoff seems to confirm it’s using the latest 4o model. Thanks.
Ok, chatgpt-4o-latest is newer than gpt-4o, and seems to perform really well in Cursor.
It’ll be a good day when OpenAI get their model naming act together!
Yeah, I like it. No Agent mode though 
it makes no sense to use chatgpt-4o no matter if latest or not, any version of it is not usable.
