I know there’s a lot of buzz about Cursor getting worse online, but it’s been really difficult to use the latest update. I’m planning on going back to copy+pasting from ChatGPT if this doesn’t get addressed. It’s incredibly frustrating that I can’t control what code the agent would have in-context like I could in previous versions of the app. When the agent runs searches, I can’t verify what code it has in its context, which makes it difficult to trust the agent to give reliable information or make sensible changes.
I would pay upwards of $100/month for the old version of Cursor. The cost-cutting measures are making the product markedly worse.
