No accept changes button, Wrong "Review next file" button instead

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I made changes in a single file Cursor doesn’t let me accept them, keeps marking the changes as not accepted and shows the “Review next file” button but in my case there’s no next file, the currently open file is the only one that changed and it doesn’t allow to accept those changes. Started to happen after the last update.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a project with one file (in my case Python)
Make some changes using AI agent (in my case Gemini)
There’s no accept button and there’s extra review next file button w/o any other file

Expected Behavior

There would be Accept button and no extra review next file button

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report. This looks like a regression in version 1.7.54.

Please share:

  • A screenshot where “Review next file” appears in place of the accept button
  • Whether this happens with other models (Claude, GPT‑4, etc.) or only with Gemini
  • Whether reloading the window Cmd/Ctrl + R makes the buttons appear correctly

Since you mentioned Cursor is unusable, I’ll escalate this to the team. If reloading doesn’t help, please try temporarily rolling back to the previous version.
