Not able to write "Other ..." answer when agent is prepping questions

Describe the Bug

When I prompted the planning agent to ask me 30 questions on the plan I wanted to refine. It started answering. While it was answering I could not write inside the “Other …” choice box. It usually worked until the agent had finished writing a function so when I dont type 30 characters a second it is impossible to answer whilst the agent is writing questions. It is very annoying as I like this type of workflow to just be asked Qs. Windows 11 if that matters. Sonnet 4.6

Steps to Reproduce

-Prompt the agent to ask 100 questions
-try writing something inside "Other … "

Expected Behavior

The cursor should stay focused int the box that is being answered. Also Seeing a bit more of the questions would be nice.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. I can reproduce it in the scenario you described, and it looks like the same class of focus stealing bugs we already fixed for the main agent input in Plan mode. It just didn’t cover the Other… freeform field inside the questionnaire toolbar. I’ll file a separate issue for this.

One ask: can you share the exact Cursor version so we can attach it to the report? You can find it in Cursor Settings > About, or Help -> About.

Workaround for now: wait until the agent finishes streaming the full list of questions, then reply. Or switch to fewer questions at a time.

I can’t give an ETA for the fix yet, but we’ll post an update in the thread when we have one.
