The more details you provide, the easier it is for us to reproduce and fix the issue. Thanks!

Hey, I’ll need a bit more info to look into this:

  1. Cursor version Help → About Cursor → Copy
  2. Which model are you using Sonnet, GPT, Gemini, etc.
  3. Run network diagnostics Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics and paste the results here
  4. A Request ID from one of the slow requests click the three-dot menu at the top right of the chat and select Copy Request ID

In the meantime, a couple of things to try:

  • Open App Settings Ctrl+,, search for HTTP/2, and enable Disable HTTP/2. This fixes a lot of slowness issues, especially on certain networks.
  • Close Cursor, go to %APPDATA%\Cursor\User\globalStorage, and check the size of state.vscdb. If it’s several GB, delete it and any .backup or .corrupted files there, then restart Cursor.

Let me know how it goes, or paste the diagnostics and I’ll take a closer look.
