Paid user - "Can't Reach Grok Bot's Computer" on all devices, bots missing after re-login

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

Since today, Grok Bot fails on both my Windows laptop (WiFi) and my phone (mobile data): “Can’t Reach Grok Bot’s Computer / A firewall, VPN, or proxy such as Zscaler may be blocking the connection / *.cursorvm.com”. Two different networks, same error - not a local network issue.

After signing out and back in, the app is stuck on “Reconnecting to your computer…” and shows “No saved Bots yet” - my existing bots are all missing.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Grok Bot on my Windows laptop (WiFi) or my phone (mobile data) - both fail with “Can’t Reach Grok Bot’s Computer”. After signing out and back in, the app is stuck on “Reconnecting to your computer…” and shows “No saved Bots yet” - my existing bots are all missing.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Version Information

Grok Bot (Windows app, plus the app on my phone). Can’t copy the version from Grok Bot → About Grok Bot because the app is stuck on “Reconnecting to your computer…” and won’t load.

Additional Information

I’m a paying user and currently can’t use the product at all. Looks like the same reattach issue as other threads here. Please fix backend-side or tell me how to restore my bots.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Update: followed the sign-out/sign-in guidance from similar threads. On the phone app (mobile data), sign-in with email code works, but “Setting up Grok Bot’s computer” runs for a few minutes and then fails with “Something went wrong / Try Again”. Retried multiple times. So the computer itself cannot be created or reattached on any device. Windows app still stuck on “Reconnecting to your computer…”. Account email: [email protected]. Support email sent to [email protected] as well.

Hey @Nimish_Goel sorry for the trouble, from what I can see on our side, Grok Bot’s computer came back online shortly after your last message and has been running normally since, so your bots and files are all still there. If the app is still on the old screen, fully close and relaunch it.

That “firewall / VPN / proxy” message was misleading - your networks were fine (which is why it looked the same on WiFi and mobile data). The computer had briefly run out of memory during a heavy task and gone offline.

Let me know if any bots are still missing after a relaunch.
