Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known bug that’s already been confirmed by our team. Plan Mode should create a plan and wait for approval before implementing, but it’s currently jumping straight to implementation for some users across multiple models.

This issue has been noticed with other models as well (Claude Sonnet 4.5 Thinking), so it’s not specific to Gemini 3 Pro or Opus 4.5.

To help the team investigate, could you please share:

  • Request ID from the affected chat (Chat menu → Copy Request ID)
  • The specific prompt/task you gave when this occurred

The team is already aware of this issue and is working on a fix.
