This is a real challenge for me as I prefer to us Auto mode and I want to be able to assign ToDos to subagents, so this bug makes my workflow impossible. Is there any workaround or special prompt I can use to trigger the todos to be generated? I’ve tried asking the Plan Mode agent to create todos but it doesn’t work properly as the todos are just a bullet point list.

However, I noticed there are already several threads on this topic, going back months, so this is obviously a recurring defect. I’m, not sure why a new thread is required?
