Hey! When using planning mode on Cursor it was possible to plan and then select to build in a new agent, which would start a new fresh context window to implement.
I can’t find it in Cursor IDE and Glass, was it removed? Why?
Hi @Waldemar_Neto This still exists! It’s kind of a hidden feature, so here’s how to find it. You need to make sure that you select at least one of the to-dos and you’re in the .md plan mode dynamic view rather than the raw markdown. After you select at least one of the to-dos, you can press “Build in New Agent”
This is a tough one. One more thing we can try. Can you toggle privacy mode and send me a request ID from the plan? I’ll try to take a look at the specific request and see if there is anything tripping up that feature from showing up.
To disable Privacy Mode:
Open Cursor Settings with Cmd+Shift+J on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+J on Windows/Linux.
Go to General.
Turn Privacy Mode off / switch to Share Data.
To get the Request ID:
Open the relevant conversation in the Chat sidebar.
Is it not because of this? I also can’t see this feature when using the new Glass layout mode, and we really DO need this feature (to me building on a new agent with a clear context should be the default).
