In planning mode, I’d like to be able to add inline comments directly to the generated markdown — similar to how Google Workspace allows commenting and suggesting edits within documents.
Additionally, it’s currently not possible to copy text from the generated markdown and paste it into the chat, which makes it difficult to reference or modify content.
These the exact 2 things that I wanted to raise. This is much needed to really use the Plan mode efficiently.
@mtford you can try switching to markdown view, which will allow you to edit and copy the plan:
This is a “vibe” killer (though I still hate that branding—because there’s so much work left after asking AI to write the code). The reason is that for long plans, I need to send batches of changes and wait for them to be rewritten before I can proceed with the review. Being able to comment on everything and submit it all at once would be amazing.
I dismissed this on Antigravity—until I didn’t—and now I really miss it on Cursor (which is still by far my favorite AI editor).
