It’s 2025 and the cursor still can’t read PDFs. Isn’t that funny?This is not a difficult thing.
I agree that support for uploading pdf files to chat with models as a context would be very useful.
I even think word is better than pdf. When I feed gpt word documents, gpt always understands word better than pdf.

Please please can we have extended support for pdf. Large files are unreadable 
I didn’t know this limatation. So I was trying to implement a research paper and due to this issue got lot of things wrong.
I wasn’t aware of the limitation, until I took a glance at claude’s thinking logs.
Please add this feature
