Teams pricing is 2x that of Pro with very small differences. I have 20 users of teams and they vary significantly in usage. I have another 20 users that are on an API key because the $40 a month is much, much more than what they spend. I spend an additional $200 a month on usage costs for just 2 or 3 high usage users.
I can’t bring over those 20 users because they don’t use it enough to warrent it and I have to pay extra for those 2 or 3 users. Pooled usage would allow me to bring in the additional users to show them the benefits of the paid features. In the end, Cursor ends up with more money and we end up with more value… It’s a win-win.
