Teams $40 vs $20 usage — extremely confusing and misleading

I purchased Cursor Teams for $40 / user / month, but in the dashboard I only see $20 included usage.

There is no clear explanation during upgrade that Teams does NOT increase usage limits compared to Individual ($20).

From a user perspective:
$40 looks like it should mean $40 usage
dashboard prominently shows $20
this feels like an error or hidden limitation

Only after digging through docs and forum threads it becomes clear that:
subscription price ≠ usage credits
Teams exists for org / admin features only

Right now it’s extremely easy to assume Teams = double usage, which is not true.

Please clarify this more clearly in UI and pricing pages — many users are confused by this.

Hey, thanks for the feedback, I totally get why this can be confusing.

Teams ($40/user/mo) and Pro ($20/mo) include the same $20 of usage. The price difference goes toward extra team features:

  • Privacy Mode enforcement
  • Admin Dashboard with analytics
  • Centralized billing
  • SAML/OIDC SSO

You’re right that we could explain this more clearly in the UI. I’ll pass the feedback to the product team, we’ve already seen similar user requests.

If you mainly need higher usage limits without team features, Pro+ ($60/mo) includes $70 of usage, or Ultra ($200/mo) includes $400.
