I’ve been searching for a way to pass in a document that has images as well. This would be a great feature to support design documents to generate implementation plans and tasks before starting code work.

  • I tried a PDF, but this is seen as a file and not allowed.
  • I tried sharing a GoogleDoc as “anyone with link” but the AI said it couldn’t access google docs.
  • I took a screen shot of a PDF page with text and image and this worked fine.

…so I assume a simple tool to convert a PDF in to a medium resolution image would be a very easy tool to add as a feature in Cursor.

I agree with this. It could be a feature or a guide to integrate a model that allows converting document structures into markdown format for easy reading (currently, many models do this well)

T3 chat takes PDFs to chat with Claude. This really needs to be added to Cursor.
