Pro users have the option to use 500 high-speed requests, and/or switch to unlimited usage with rate limits.
However, Student Pro users (those using a student discount) do not have this option. They are automatically put into the unlimited-but-rate-limited plan.
System message:
“Pro users with an active Student Discount cannot opt out of the unlimited usage with rate limits pricing model. This is why you’re seeing the message that your current plan doesn’t support opting out.”
Is this a way to prevent abuse of discounted student accounts?
Are they trying to crack down on account reselling or unauthorized commercial use?
