Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. Could you let me know if you are opening the project from the terminal using cursor . or through the “Open with” context menu?

I don’t know what you mean but this project i use “add folder to workspace”. But the problem here is: when the first time i add folder to workspace (this project in my picture name “BDS”), project rules APPEAR. But when i exit Cursor and the next time i open Cursor, project rules DISAPPEAR. And from then, IT DISAPPEAR, not APPEARS. Project Rules only appear whenever i “remove “BDS” project from workspace and add “BDS” project to workspace”

Thanks for the info. We’ll look into it.

@deanrie may be i found problems. My project current in disk D (this disk is partition from disk C). When i move project to OS (:C) Disk, my rules appear no matter how many times i open Cursor. So, i think that Cursor team need to account for this problem

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Project rules don’t work in workspaces.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Open a folder/project
  • click file top left
  • add folder to workspace

Expected Behavior

Projects rules break and don’t work, doesn’t show in cursor settings or with @.

The rules of the project you opened should still apply
