Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
Not trying to be dramatic, but lately it honestly feels like Cursor is starting to slide a bit. The IDE itself is still solid — you’ve built some genuinely good things here — but the current experience feels increasingly constrained.
Model calls are frequently capped or fail outright. Sometimes the model won’t respond at all, other times responses take 5–10 minutes, which completely breaks flow. On top of that, the Pro plan feels like it effectively lasts about an hour before things degrade or reset, even when I’m not running heavy workloads.
Between session instability, apparent model limits, and long delays, it’s getting harder to rely on Cursor for sustained work. It’s frustrating because the foundation is strong, but this latest version has me starting to look elsewhere again, which isn’t something I really want to do.
Curious if this is due to load, backend changes, new model rollouts, or intentional limits — but some transparency here would go a long way.
