This is for the purpose of reviewing a chat. I have long conversations and I often have to scroll up and carefully skim to find previous questions/answers. It would be nice if we could have a button to quickly jump from question to question. Or a kind of outline / TOC that shows us every question we asked so we can click on one to go back to it.
Hey, thanks for the request. By the way, the Up arrow already works for navigating your requests in chat. When the input is focused, press Up and you can move through the history of your questions.
I get that you’re asking for something more advanced, like a TOC or a quick jump to specific parts of a long chat, not just your own requests. There are similar requests already (jump to start, minimap).
The team is aware of these requests to improve chat navigation.
That’s useful, but in practice it doesn’t help me see the answers to each question. I’m doing as you suggested - focus the input, then use the arrow to navigate through questions. But when I attempt to scroll down to read the answers, it puts me all the way back at the bottom. I’ve tried highlighting the words immediately after that question but everything just gets stuck and the only thing I can do is bounce back to the bottom. I would like to be able to tab to the question, then scroll from that section to read what’s there.
