Reporting an issue with a request

Quick reference for how to report an issue if a request doesn’t work as expected:

  • Make sure you are on non-privacy mode (at least temporarily)
  • Re-submit the request, e.g. the Composer prompt
  • In the editor, Cmd+Shift+P (Ctrl+Shift+P on PC) and Report AI Action
  • Copy the Request ID for the last “composer” and the last “apply”
  • Include those IDs in your email/forum post

Why non-privacy?

The Privacy mode is so comprehensive it means it leaves nothing for the dev team to troubleshoot. You can re-enable it afterwards if you want.

but my errors with cursor IDE is that when server response has problem and it becomes a “RESUME” button… everything i started writing in the textbox is cleared.
