Request Blocked - Suspicious Activity Detected - Need Help

Describe the Bug

I’m a legitimate user from Brazil and I’m experiencing an issue with my account. I received a “suspicious activity detected” message that blocked my request, and I need help resolving this.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Tried to submit a development assistant prompt
  2. System detected “suspicious activity”
  3. Request was blocked with ID: e71273f2-566b-4a48-9f1a-68bb0132717b

Expected Behavior

The prompt should have been processed normally as before.

My situation:

I’m a beginner coder (no technical background) from Brazil
I’ve been using Cursor successfully until this happened
I want to continue using the platform to its full potential
This is NOT malicious activity - just a regular user trying to get coding help

I’m located in São Paulo, Brazil
I’ve been having great results with Cursor until this issue

I really appreciate Cursor and want to continue using it. This seems like a false positive from your security system. Could you please help me resolve this quickly?

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, did you try creating a new chat or switching to a specific model, like Claude?

UPDATE: Issue has been resolved!

The Cursor team quickly fixed the false positive blocking issue.
My account is now working normally.

Thank you for the support!
