Hi Cursor Team,
I’m experiencing a critical issue when using Cursor. Every time I send an agent prompt (e.g., asking for help or suggestions), I receive the following error:
“Your request has been blocked as our system has detected suspicious activity from your account/IP address. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact us at [email protected].”
Request ID: 97b9ff63-9bf2-41d9-8cf3-e40228e0032e
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Cursor on either of my devices
- Send a prompt to the agent
- Error message appears and halts all interaction
Environment:
- Windows Device:
- OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 (build 26100)
- Cursor Version: 0.50.5 (user setup)
- VSCode Version: 1.96.2
- Electron: 34.3.4
- Chromium: 132.0.6834.210
- Node.js: 20.18.3
- V8: 13.2.152.41-electron.0
- Mac Device:
- MacBook Air M1
- macOS Sequoia 15.5
- Cursor: Latest available version
Additional Info:
- I use Cursor on both devices but never simultaneously.
- The issue occurs on both Mac and Windows.
- No VPN or proxy is in use.
- Restarting network, reinstalling Cursor, or changing networks has not resolved the issue.
Impact:
This issue is blocking me from using Cursor’s core features (agent prompts), which significantly disrupts my development workflow.
I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this as soon as possible.
