🚫 Blocked Access – “Suspicious Activity” Error (Request ID: 97b9ff63-9bf2-41d9-8cf3-e40228e0032e)

Hi Cursor Team,

I’m experiencing a critical issue when using Cursor. Every time I send an agent prompt (e.g., asking for help or suggestions), I receive the following error:

“Your request has been blocked as our system has detected suspicious activity from your account/IP address. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact us at [email protected].”
Request ID: 97b9ff63-9bf2-41d9-8cf3-e40228e0032e

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Cursor on either of my devices
  2. Send a prompt to the agent
  3. Error message appears and halts all interaction

:laptop: Environment:

    • Cursor Version: 0.50.5 (user setup)

  • Mac Device:
    • MacBook Air M1
    • macOS Sequoia 15.5
    • Cursor: Latest available version

:receipt: Additional Info:

  • I use Cursor on both devices but never simultaneously.
  • The issue occurs on both Mac and Windows.
  • No VPN or proxy is in use.
  • Restarting network, reinstalling Cursor, or changing networks has not resolved the issue.

:red_exclamation_mark: Impact:

This issue is blocking me from using Cursor’s core features (agent prompts), which significantly disrupts my development workflow.

I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this as soon as possible.
