This was my first greeting to Cursor as well. I am not willing to try to debug such things. If the tool errors out with the very first question and persists in doing so, where can we possibly go from here?

All I did was start a new chat and tell Assistant to start the agreed Plan 2, which was nothing more than outlining the frontend development schedule, then my request was blocked!

I am here for same reason ‘detected suspicious activity’.
Everywhere, we have been told to give a clear prompt to get a clear output; Giving a clear prompts actually blocked you for using the tool, what is the meaning of that? How can Cursor make our life easy, when I am blocked from last 24hours

Response from Cursor Team:

Due to recent increased misuse of our system, your request may have been blocked as a security measure. Here’s how to resolve this.

First, please check if you are using a VPN. If you are, try turning it off.

If turning off your VPN doesn’t work, you can try these additional steps:

  • Create a new chat

  • Try again later

  • Create a new account using Google or GitHub OAuth authentication

  • Sign up for Cursor Pro

Let me know if you need anything else!
