This will hopefully be delivered soon! I also want to just have a deb file. It shouldn’t be hard, and it will be much better integrated with Linux (eg. for Ubuntu, Linux Mint users or alike).
Currently VSCode & Windsurf are also providing deb files, which works much better than AppImage. In Windsurf the application just automatically forks to the background. No weird issues in the virtual terminal of the editor itself. No need to manually create desktop files or whatever…
I really really want to see a deb file soon!
