Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report. To narrow it down, could you share:

  • What does the “corruption” look like? (e.g., partial deletions, garbled text, duplicated blocks, wrong line endings)
  • Which files are affected (types, sizes, specific sections)?
  • Does it happen more on large files or during rapid, multiple edits?
  • Does it occur in a brand‑new chat or only in an existing large chat?
  • Which file types/extensions are impacted?
  • Any correlation with network issues or system performance drops?
  • What file encoding is used (UTF‑8, UTF‑16, with/without BOM)?

In the meantime, please try:

  • Using other models (e.g., Grok, GPT‑5) in a new chat
  • Testing different encodings
  • Capturing before/after diffs, plus logs and timestamps
