Is this the model in Cursor’s Compile that talked about building an opus class model? or will that be composer+ 3.0?
It’s not because it’s not available yet in the interface. Is this some kind of eurohate?
Which variant of Grok 4.5 is in “First-party models” pool? Because I’ve tried “Cursor Grok 4.5 High” and “Cursor Grok 4.5 High Fast” and it’s still drawing from API usage pool
Fully agree , was really looking forward to using the new model , been following the news and watching all videos assuming I will be able to use it like I did with Composer 2.5 seeing as it’s an internal model , but no , you hide it behind max mode for your early suporters
In my current main project, long-term tracking of open bugs is done through BUGS.md. Once closed, tickets are moved to the (second) “Closed” section in the same file. I only record as open those bugs that I can’t or don’t have time to fix immediately.
Grok is the only model that has started automatically logging bug fixing work there for bugs I submit as a task in chat, rather than those already in that file.
Yeah, I have the same.
Still takes API tokens? Will I get my API usage refunded? I select Cursor Grok 4.5 directly though.
It still uses API usage…
available in the EU in the coming WEEKS.
unlucky…
This restriction is related to EU AI Act or something ?
I was exited to try out grok 4.5, but I am in EU ![]()
Same here, starting from around 2 AM GMT, It keeps taking API token pool. A bit annoyed with Cursor budget control in the last two days. A budget control incident yesterday, and now this issue.
Why I can see any other model in EU when they come out but not Grok 4.5? What is the exact problem?

Hey all,
I’ve tested it this afternoon and Grok 4.5 should now be pulling from the first-party model pool. Please rely on the stats under https://cursor.com/dashboard/billing!

Hi @KhanhDo,
It looks like you’re on an Enterprise plan, which doesn’t distinguish between an Auto + Composer (first-party) pool and an API pool—instead, you have a single, unified pool of credits. Depending on your specific plan, you may also have promotional credits that make certain requests (such as Composer 2.5) free, based on your team’s usage.
We want to make Grok 4.5 available worldwide. We have to comply with some notification requirements before making new models available. We will make Grok 4.5 available in the EU as soon as we can!
