Shell Command: Install 'cursor' not available

I am using ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Trying to get the cursor command to work.
Shell Command: Install 'cursor' not available in the command palette

Anyone knows a fix?

Unfortunately, the “cursor” command is broken on Linux.

This is a user install. System-wide install is pretty similar, just different paths. 1. Create a new folder for cursor mkdir -p ~/Applications/cursor 2. Get the latest version of cursor in that folder wget -O ~/Applications/cursor/cursor.AppImage "https://downloader.cursor.sh/linux/appImage/x64" 3. The simplest fix is to create a symlink to your app-image:

ln -nsf /path/to/appimage /usr/local/bin/cursor
