"Signature verification was not executed."

Hi, I installed Cursor but I keep getting the error “Signature verification was not executed.”
I tried:

  • Reinstalling Cursor
  • Deleting cache files
  • Running “cursor --verify-signatures” (but it says unknown option)
  • Disabling antivirus (McAfee)

Is there any way to fix this? Do I need a System Installer version?

Update: I am still experiencing this issue.

I noticed that the error appears even when reinstalling Cursor and clearing cache files. Also, I couldn’t find a way to run Cursor as an administrator, as the installer doesn’t support it.

Is there any way to verify the signatures manually, or does Cursor require specific dependencies to work correctly?
